Delichon urbicum
House Martin - A summer visitor, and as the Swallow, it winters in Southern Africa. Builds nest of wet mud under the eaves of houses. The tail is not as forked as on the swallow and of course lacking the red face. Feeds almost entirely on flying insects. Images from Ballinaglera Co. Leitrim and Praia Da Rocha Portugal.
