Little Grebe - Also known as the Dabchick, Little Grebes are the smallest of our Grebes, found on ponds and lakes throughout Britain and Ireland. Also around estuaries during the winter. Its diet consists mainly of small fish and aquatic invertebrates. These images are from Co. Leitrim, Longford and Vilamoura reeds beds in Portugal.
