Eolophus roseicapilla
Galah - also known as the rose-breasted cockatoo for obvious reasons. This very distinctive bird inhabits most of Australia. They mostly forage for food on foot in open fields. They do not live in forests although they spend much of the day sheltering from heat in the foliage of trees and shrubs. These photographs were taken in Bundaberg eastern Australia.
