Parus major

Great Tit - Common visitor to gardens and bird tables. Very brightly coloured. It is recognised by the broad black bar running down the center of the breast. Breeds in all kinds of woodland and also in larger next boxes than that of the Blue Tit. This first photograph taken at Carsington Reservoir Derbyshire. The other two in my garden at Greaghnafarna Co. Leitrim.
