Cattle Egret - A member of the Heron family. Cattle Egrets are found in the tropics, subtropics and warm temperate zones. They are attracted to cattle catching insects and small vertebrate prey disturbed by these animals. This photograph was taken by Jake at Quinta do Lago Portugal.
