Egretta sacra

Pacific Reef Heron - or Pacific Reef Egrets are found in many areas of Asia. They have a wingspan of between 90 and 110 cm and reach an average weight of 400 grams. There are two colour forms (black and white) as shown here. They feed on fish, molluscs and crustaceans. These birds were foraging near Bagara Queensland Australia.
