Alanda arvensis

Skylark - Often heard before seen! The song is sweet and widely recognised. Often seen as a tiny dot twittering high in the summer sky over open countryside, fields, moors, rough grazing and sand dunes. I followed this one as it landed in a field in front of me at Raghly Harbour Co. Sligo. Also seen at Streedagh Strand Sligo.
