Falco eleonorae

Eleonora's falcon - a medium-sized bird of prey. It is an agile, elegant raptor with long, pointed wings and a long tail. Primarily breeds on islands and coastal cliffs in the Mediterranean Sea. They mainly eat large insects such as dragonflies and small migratory birds, which they capture in flight. I saw this falcon for the first time at a distance in the Agia Varvara area of Cyprus during May.
