Turdus pilaris

Fieldfare - Winter visitor and a member of the thrush family. Highly gregarious during the winter, forming large mixed flocks of winter thrushes. Breeds in north Denmark and the whole of Scandinavia. Often seen in flocks with Redwings. Images taken at Greaghnafarna Ballinaglera Co. Leitrim Ireland.
