Silver Gull - the most common gull seen in Australia. Feeds on worms, fish, insects and crustaceans. Often seen scavenging at refuse tips. Seldom venture far out to sea. They nest in large colonies on offshore islands. These gulls were on the beach at Elliots Head Queensland Australia.
